Hugo de Payens


Hugo de Payens , who was born in 1080 years in Troyes, died May 24, 1136 year. Originally known as the French crusader, who was on duty in the Holy Land. Between 1118 and 1136 years he was honorable Grand Master of the Knights Templar.

    Hugo de Payens took part in two crusades - in 1104 and 1114 years. On the other did not return remaining permanently in Palestine.
